We offer several options: Clear epoxy, pigmented epoxy, epoxy with flake, decorative silica, and metallic epoxy.
We come in and properly prep the surface insuring you will not have that peeling you see in so many applications.
After preparation of the surface, we apply a primer coat to fill pores and insure an exceptional bond.(lots of the other guys skip this).
For a flake floor:
Next comes a thick commercial grade 2-part epoxy coat that will give many years of service without wearing through.
Then we broadcast the color flake combination into the wet epoxy. Light , medium, or heavy, however you want. Once dry, we
roll on a tough, clear 2-part epoxy coat to seal in the flake. Lastly, if you choose, we add a high performance urethane top coat.
We know that’s a lot, but we want to do it right!!
We have a wide variety of of standard flake blends and can make you a
custom mix in thousands of possible combinations.
For a silica or 100% covered flake floor:
We apply the thick 2-part epoxy coat Then come a 100% coverage broadcast of silica or flake. Once dry, we apply a tough thick,
clear 2-part epoxy coat to seal it all in. Lastly, if you choose, we add a high-performance urethane top coat (we recommend it).
Metallic epoxy:
This process offers so many options it’s sometimes hard to make a decision. We first apply the primer and base coat in a color
you choose (your background color). The next step, the application on a metallic pigmented epoxy, depends on the look you want.
Also, the way it is applied, rolled, spread, swirled, etc… affects the final result. These floors are very custom, no two will be the same.
After the color is down, we suggest a high performance urethane top coat.
